It's a Big world out There...

I have not updated here in awhile due to me being busy 24/7. Literally.

In fact, I have not drawn as much, but am scrambling to finish it as I have everything in my head, but I do have doubts in my abilities, as I have stumbled across another manga called "Resonance". Here is the link:

Those of you who continue to read it will understand how good his art is and he says he wants to submit his stuff, but has no confidence in it. I have yet to post my drawings on this blog, but I can say his art is clearly superior to mine.

This just comes to show that it truly is a huge world out there and that life is not easy. My biggest weakness in drawing is backgrounds. I am definitely trying to improve, although it is difficult.

But we shall see, I will try to update this blog more often as well as start posting some pages!

School has been busy lately so I haven't been able to draw as much unfortunately. But I still try to read as much manga or comics as possible.

It's weird though because back in high school, I use to draw so much, an extreme amount I must say. I remember doodling in class all the time because I knew a lot of the material, so I just spent the entire period drawing on my manga. Back then, I LOVED Dragonball, I worshipped it and it definitely influenced my style as my current style still somewhat resembles it. I do hope to one say meet the creator of Dragonball, but for now, it is only a dream.

The flame of drawing started to dwindle in college as I became more distracted with friends, schoolwork, and of course, partying, haha. But when the light of inspiration strikes, I feel unstoppable, in fact, I started to focus more on the storytelling aspect of the comic than just the drawing. In fact, here is a link to one of my favorite amateur comics:

Whenever I need inspiration to draw, I look at his comic. Inspirations are a wonderful thing, especially this blog. After watching "Julie & Julia", I became inspired to make this blog hoping I will get noticed. Those of you who have not seen it, I recommend it, haha.

Well that's it, for now, I will probably start posting up pictures of my manga soon! So stay tuned!

The Future Told

So the other day, it was me, my girlfriend, Betty, and her roommate, Felicia. We all went to the cafe the ladies worked since there was a bbq going on and we had to go since they might need to work. So we got up to the deck, smoked hookah and relaxed.

Then Felicia started telling the future.

She told me that me and Betty woudl get married and have four children, one boy, and three girls, two of them being twins. Honestly, I wasn't too happy with that prediction, I only wanted two boys and oen girl, but anyways. She went on to tell me that I will get published BEFORE grad school ends, which to me, is unreal.

But I am starting to draw more fervently so I can start submitting my manga to companies and seeing where it will go, I hope I can go far, it'd be nice.

I hope the future I was told comes true.
